He was born in England and at 18 years moved in India where he lived 12 years. There he learned from an Indian Rishi a language that is considered dead language. Then he found out that in India there are temples that preserve old tablets written in that language. These tablets are and were considered sacred for the peoples living in these temples.
When he had access to the tablets and with the help of the Indian priest or Rishi he started translating these tablets written in that ancient language. They talk about the existence of a continent amed Mu.
James Churchward wrote 5 books regarding the subject that I am aware of in one of the iok he published the alphabet of Mu.
These ancient inhabitants of Mu were great navigators and sailors whi took their ships over the world from Eastern to the western iceans and from the northen to Southern seas.
They were also learned architects building great temples and places if stone.
They carved and set up great monolits.
In the land if Mu therr flourished seven great or principal cities , the seat of religion, science and learning.
There were many other large cities towns and cilkages scattered throughout the three lands.
The land of Mu was the mother and the center if the earth's civilization learning trade and commerce. All other countries throughout the world were her colonies or colonial empires.
Great carved stone temples without roofs sometimes called transparent temples adorned the cities.
The rooflesness being tonoermit the rays of Ra to fall on the heads of those in supplication and prayer a symbol of aknoledgement of diety.
The wealthy classes adorned themselves with many jewels and precious stones. They lived in imposing palaces attended by many servants.
Colonies have been scattered in all oarts if the Earth Being great navigators their ships were constant carrying passengers and merchandises to and from various colinies.
The Land of Mu is aknoleged by the ancient Egyptians in the Book of the Dead.
Same Language is used on stone tabkets found in Mexico named Niven's stone tablets after the name of the William Niven 1851-1937 that found them.
A collection of 2600 stone tablets written in the language of the list continent of Mu was found by William Niven and translated by James Churchward that lived in New York city the last few years of his life.
There are few manuscripts that talk about the destruction of.Mu .
This are
Troano Manuscript,
The Borgian Codex,
Codex Cortesianuss.
Here is another example of Mu writing that record the kand of Mu or Kui Land.
The land of Kui means the land of departed souls.
The Egyptian Ka with its extended meaning comes out of Maya Kui.
In ancie t times god did not mean the diety it referred to the soul of the departed one.
The mitherland of Gods means tge Moderland of Man.
Kui Land or the Land of Kui according to the Maya language was the birthplace of the goddess Maya the mother of the Gods and of Man.
